This protocol is intended to support normal thyroid physiology and nutritional status. It is not intended to diagnose or treat hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, hyperthyroidism, or another thyroid disorder, and it should not be used as a replacement for prescribed thyroid medication or appropriate medical care.
This protocol may contain more than one source of iodine. ReGenerZyme Thyroid already provides iodine, and selecting Cataplex E adds an additional iodine-containing product. Cataplex E2 allows additional selenium and vitamin E support without adding another source of iodine. Iodine needs can vary, particularly in people with existing thyroid conditions, so the total iodine contribution of the selected products should be considered.
Ashwagandha can influence thyroid physiology. People with an existing thyroid condition or those taking thyroid medication should discuss its use with a qualified healthcare professional. Ashwagandha Supreme should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and caution is appropriate for people taking medications or managing existing health conditions.
Thytrophin PMG contains bovine thyroid extract that has been processed to substantially remove thyroxine. It is intended as nutritional glandular support and is not thyroid hormone replacement.
Black Cumin Seed Forte is contraindicated during pregnancy. Women who are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding should review the current product precautions and discuss its use with an appropriate healthcare professional. Potential herb-drug interactions should also be considered when medications are being used.
People experiencing persistent fatigue, unexplained weight change, significant heat or cold intolerance, heart-rate changes, neck swelling, or other symptoms suggestive of altered thyroid function should consider appropriate clinical evaluation and laboratory testing rather than attempting to determine thyroid status from symptoms alone.
