Bone & Mineral Support Protocol

Practitioner-designed nutritional support for healthy bones, mineral nutrition, skeletal maintenance, and long-term bone health.

Bone is living tissue that is continuously maintained and remodeled throughout life. Healthy skeletal function depends on more than calcium alone. Vitamin D, trace minerals, essential fatty acids, protein, physical activity, and other nutritional factors all contribute to maintaining normal bone structure and function.

Bone-focused nutritional support can also be approached in different ways. Some people may prefer a comprehensive packaged strategy that combines several complementary formulas, while others may prefer a more modular approach that allows bone-specific, fatty-acid, vitamin, and botanical support to be selected separately.

The Bone & Mineral Support Protocol provides both approaches. The Bone Health Pack offers a comprehensive prepackaged strategy, while Biost can serve as the foundation for a more customizable strategy that may also include Cod Liver Oil and Cissus Supreme.

What This Protocol Supports

This protocol is designed to provide nutritional support for:

  • Healthy bones and skeletal tissues
  • Normal bone maintenance and remodeling
  • Healthy bone density
  • Calcium and mineral nutrition
  • Vitamin D nutritional support
  • Essential fatty-acid nutrition relevant to musculoskeletal health
  • Healthy connective and skeletal tissues
  • Long-term bone and musculoskeletal health

Who May Find This Relevant

This protocol may be relevant for adults who want a focused nutritional strategy for maintaining healthy bones and skeletal tissues over time.

It may also appeal to people who want to complement adequate dietary protein, minerals, vitamin D, resistance exercise, and weight-bearing activity with additional bone-focused nutritional support.

Some people may prefer the convenience of a comprehensive packaged program, while others may want greater control over the individual components of their bone-support strategy. This protocol provides both options.

This protocol is distinct from the Musculoskeletal Recovery & Inflammatory Response Protocol. That protocol places greater emphasis on muscles, joints, connective tissue, exercise recovery, and healthy inflammatory physiology, while this protocol places greater emphasis on bone, mineral, and skeletal nutrition.

Comprehensive Pack or Modular Bone Foundation

This component establishes the primary bone-support strategy.

The Bone Health Pack provides a comprehensive prepackaged approach that combines several complementary bone-support formulas into one convenient system.

Biost provides a more focused bone-specific foundation centered on veal bone PMG extract and manganese. When Biost is selected, additional nutritional and botanical support can be built separately through Cod Liver Oil and Cissus Supreme.

Choose one primary bone-support approach.

Cod Liver Oil, 180 Softgels

Omega-3, Vitamin A & Vitamin D Support

Cod Liver Oil, 180 Softgels

Cod Liver Oil adds a nutritional layer that is not provided by Biost alone.

It supplies the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA together with vitamins A and D. Within this protocol, it broadens the modular strategy by adding essential-fatty-acid and fat-soluble-vitamin support relevant to normal bone and musculoskeletal physiology.

This component is particularly useful when building the Biost-based modular pathway.

Cissus Supreme - 90 Capsules

Botanical Bone & Connective-Tissue Support

Cissus Supreme - 90 Capsules

Cissus Supreme provides the botanical component of the modular bone-support strategy.

It contains Cissus quadrangularis, a botanical traditionally used in musculoskeletal and bone-support applications. Within this protocol, Cissus provides a distinct botanical layer that complements Biost's bone-specific nutritional support and Cod Liver Oil's essential-fatty-acid and fat-soluble-vitamin support.

This component is particularly useful when a broader modular bone and tissue strategy is desired.

How the Products Work Together

This protocol provides two different ways to approach bone-focused nutritional support.

The Bone Health Pack provides the comprehensive packaged pathway. Each packet combines Calcifood, Cataplex D, Cruciferous Complete, and Ostrophin PMG, bringing together calcium, vitamin D, manganese, whole-food nutritional support, and bone-derived PMG material in one coordinated system.

Biost provides the foundation for the modular pathway. Its veal bone PMG extract and manganese provide more focused bone and skeletal nutritional support.

Cod Liver Oil can then broaden the modular strategy by supplying EPA and DHA together with vitamins A and D, adding essential-fatty-acid and fat-soluble-vitamin support relevant to bone and musculoskeletal physiology.

Cissus Supreme adds the botanical component, providing a distinct plant-based approach to bone and tissue support.

Together, the two strategies can be summarized as:

Comprehensive packaged support → Bone Health Pack

or

Modular support → Biost → Cod Liver Oil → Cissus Supreme

The purpose of these pathways is not to make one approach universally better than the other. They allow a shopper to choose between a convenient comprehensive system and a more customizable combination of complementary nutritional strategies.

Suggested Use

Follow the suggested use and current label directions for each selected product unless otherwise directed by a qualified healthcare professional.

Because this protocol allows a choice between a comprehensive packaged strategy and a modular strategy with optional components, serving recommendations should be based on the specific products selected rather than a single protocol-wide dosing schedule.

Review the current product label before use.

Customize Your Protocol

Choose the Bone Health Pack when a comprehensive packaged approach is preferred. It combines four bone-focused Standard Process formulas into convenient individual packs and provides a broad nutritional strategy without requiring several separate product selections.

Choose Biost when a more modular approach is preferred. Biost provides the bone-specific foundation through veal bone PMG extract and manganese.

When using the modular approach, Cod Liver Oil can be added to provide EPA and DHA together with vitamins A and D.

Cissus Supreme can be added when botanical bone and tissue support is also desired.

The modular strategy can therefore be built progressively:

Biost alone → Biost + Cod Liver Oil → Biost + Cod Liver Oil + Cissus Supreme

The Bone Health Pack and the complete modular pathway should be viewed as different approaches rather than automatically combined in full.

Important Information

This protocol is intended to support normal bone physiology, mineral nutrition, and skeletal health. It is not intended to diagnose, prevent, or treat osteoporosis, osteopenia, fractures, or another bone disorder.

Bone Health Pack contains wheat and naturally occurring vitamin K1. The current product label advises consultation with a healthcare professional during pregnancy or nursing, with impaired liver function, when taking blood-thinning medication, or when following a prescribed low-oxalate diet.

Biost is a concentrated source of manganese. Total manganese intake should be considered when it is combined with other manganese-containing supplements.

Cod Liver Oil contains fish and provides vitamins A and D in addition to EPA and DHA. Total vitamin A and vitamin D intake should be considered when other products containing these nutrients are being used.

Cissus Supreme should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Bone health is influenced by many factors beyond supplementation, including resistance and weight-bearing activity, adequate protein and energy intake, vitamin D status, hormonal factors, age, medications, and underlying health conditions.

People with a known bone disorder, recurrent or unexplained fractures, significant loss of height, substantial changes in bone density, or other concerns about skeletal health should consider appropriate professional evaluation rather than relying on an online nutritional protocol alone.
